The Crew Cat is our best value for capacity: it holds 45 guests and its full day to Isla Mujeres is the most affordable among catamarans of that size. It's chartered whole, so you sail with your group only.
Two ways to sail it
Full day — 7 hours, 10:00 departure
You leave at ten in the morning heading for Isla Mujeres. Guided snorkeling at El Meco reef among fish, coral and submerged sculptures; a stop at Playa Norte; buffet lunch and open bar at a private beach club; and free time to walk the town before sailing back at sunset.
Sunset — 4 hours, 19:00 departure
A run around Cancun bay with open bar on board as the sun goes down. No snorkeling: the point is to toast, put music on and watch the Caribbean change colour. It closes out the day without taking up all of it.
What the sailing includes
Certified captain and crew, domestic open bar on board (beer, tequila, rum, vodka, soft drinks and water), full snorkeling gear and a certified guide who takes you to the best spots on the reef on the daytime departure.
Where it starts
Departure is from Marina Playa Tortugas (Adventure Bay), Boulevard Kukulcán Km 6.5 in the Cancun Hotel Zone. You can make your own way there or add round-trip hotel transportation when booking; the pickup time is confirmed after purchase.
Who it's for
Medium and large groups who want the full day without overpaying. Because the rate is per boat and not per person, the cost per head drops as the boat fills: with 45 places, a full group pays considerably less than it would on a shared tour.
